I’ve been fishing at the rectory for over 10 years now, great spot.

First day here yesterday and I had 36+ fish losing and missing plenty also. I was made to feel very welcome upon arrival and was given a few tips by John on what was working. There was a great atmosphere around the lake as all the other anglers made you feel welcome and were chatty offering tips and their fly selections etc. Clean water and most importantly, healthy hard fighting fish!! Will definitely be back here, thank you very much. Great day

Still the best cleanest fishery in northern ireland, my fav place as always! Also you can hire the cottage to stay there, just a stone throw to the lake, would recommend stay in the cosy cottage as good price too!

I have only been fly fishing 8 weeks and went here 25 June 2017 - worth the travel to such a wonderful lake and fish so health and large the grounds are amazing well tended to and weed free lake the staff are exceptional so friendly treated us like friends rather than a visitor - toilets clean and fresh plenty of bins to deposit used line and rubbish also nothing to much trouble for staff here even the fishermen here all helped us out with tips coaching and which flies. Also well stocked tackle shop on site ample car parking fisherman rest to eat lunch free tea coffee provided worth it has to be my favourite Fishery so far and I been to many these last few weeks amazing place please visit you won't regret it we visited from Dundonald outside Belfast lake was so easy to get to and access they were all amazing if I could give it 10 stars I would my friend John and I will definitely be returning hopefully soon.

Visited Rectory Lodge for a weekend of fishing. Great escape and a very enjoyable weekend. The staff were friendly, the cottage was beautiful and so cosy! Quite a few fish caught too, lakes seemed to be well stocked. Top Marks here, will definately be back
